2025 Osaka MUN Report
This month, 14 Ritsumori students attended the Osaka Model United Nations event, organized by Kansai International High School. The event brought together over 200 students from seven schools across the Kansai region. It was the largest group of Ritsumori students to attend the event so far. For most of our school’s participants, it was their first MUN experience.
With the help of their seniors, they prepared clauses on the agenda item “The Global Crisis of Refugees,” focusing on the topics of “Emergency Humanitarian Aid and Refugee Camps” and “Local Integration and Resettlement.”
Our students said that they found the event challenging but rewarding. All of them actively participated by researching background information, giving speeches, and fielding questions during debates.

2025年度 大阪模擬国連リポート
7月9日〜10日、本校から14名の生徒が、関西国際高等学校主催の大阪模擬国連（Osaka Model United Nations）に参加しました。このイベントには、関西地域の7校から200名を超える生徒が集まり、本校としても過去最大の参加人数となりました。
参加生徒の多くにとって、今回が初めての模擬国連体験となり、先輩のサポートを受けながら、議題「The Global Crisis of Refugees（難民の世界的危機）」に関する条項を作成しました。議論では、「Emergency Humanitarian Aid and Refugee Camps（緊急人道支援と難民キャンプ）」および「Local Integration and Resettlement（地域への統合と再定住）」というトピックに焦点を当てました。
生徒たちは「難しかったけれど、やりがいがあった」と感想を述べており、背景調査、スピーチ、討論中の質疑応答などに積極的に取り組みました。
